Academic results: O Castro British International School pupils excel once again this year
Excellence in British Education
Globeducate British International Schools follow the National Curriculum for England, with some schools offering the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme at Sixth Form level, a broad and balanced educational programme, taught in English.
Students receive personalised attention in order to help them access every part of the curriculum and to maximise their educational potential.
The British education system is recognised and respected throughout the world for its quality. Teaching methods are differentiated to guarantee progress for every student and regular evaluation enables teachers to identify individual areas of strength and weakness and to adapt the student’s learning programme accordingly. The curriculum is carefully conceived to support, guide and educate every child, helping them to achieve their full academic and personal potential.
Encouraging independent thinking
Educational excellence is a key element of the British system and this ideal extends beyond purely academic achievement.
The National Curriculum for England encourages young people to interact with and explore the world around them, to think independently and form their own points of view, and to respect and communicate intelligently with others. Our goal is for our students to become socially responsible individuals. These values are also key to the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme which some of our schools offer at Sixth Form.
SEN Provision
In our schools we provide an inclusive education based upon our fundamental view that diversity should be celebrated, and that every child has a right for their individual educational needs to be met. We understand that many children experience difficulties at different times throughout their lives and we make every effort to ensure that we provide the right sort of help at the right time. Our SEN Departments and Student Guidance Services are available to all of our students and their families whenever they are needed.
