The II Educational Talk of GBIS in Spain, organised by Coruña British International School, O Castro British International School, St. George’s British International School and Cambridge House, will be held on 17th March. On this occasion, the event will feature the participation of Víctor Küppers as a guest star, who will give a talk entitled "Education in the 21st century, beyond the classroom”.

During the event, which will be held online, we will reflect on Education in its broadest sense, beyond the strictly academic sphere, delving into the importance of attitude and state of mind when facing challenges in order to successfully achieve our goals.

Educating beyond the classroom

Education is undoubtedly one of the greatest challenges of modern society, and transcends the learning and teaching that takes place in schools. At Globeducate British International Schools we understand that it is a joint task, in which schools, families, friends and colleagues all play a fundamental role.

During his talk, Víctor Küppers will give us a series of key points, applicable to different circumstances in our daily lives. The importance of positive reinforcement to develop confidence in a child's abilities, both academic and extracurricular; the importance of emotional intelligence, which has an impact on social and mental well-being, facilitating understanding of the environment and making the right decisions in the face of various conflictive situations that arise in our daily lives; and, fundamentally, the importance of attitude when it comes to facing and overcoming our own limits.
