Nobel Algarve British International School, Almancil

We are delighted to celebrate the achievements of our Year 11 students following the release of this year’s Cambridge and Pearson Edexcel IGCSE examination results.

Nobel Algarve British International School Almancil is proud to announce that it will host IB Day Algarve 2026, a key educational event organised by the International Baccalaureate (IB), bringing together school leaders and academic coordinators from across Portugal for a day of professional dialogue, collaboration and innovation in education.

Last Wednesday, 3rd June, our school community celebrated Wear It Wild Day, raising awareness of wildlife conservation while supporting a worthy local cause. Students came to school dressed as endangered animals or wearing animal-themed accessories.

At the start of the Easter break, Nobel Algarve British International School Almancil celebrated its very first Ski Trip and Duke of Edinburgh Trip.

We are excited to announce the launch of the Nobel Algarve British International School, Almancil Interact Club of Almancil, a youth branch of Rotary International that empowers students to make a positive difference through service, leadership, and global citizenship. This new club will provide opportunities for our students (ages 15-18) to engage in meaningful community projects, develop teamwork and leadership skills, and connect with local and international service networks.

Last week, 15 pupils (Ed, Ted, Jack, Ben, Maxim, Harry, Laith, Kamila, Isla, Daisy, Amelie, Julieta, Varvara, Bea & Graziella) from Nobel Algarve Almancil travelled to Barcelona to compete in their first-ever Globeducate Cup, hosted by Agora Barcelona International School. With the participation of 12 schools (Portugal, Andorra, Spain and Cyprus) and 146 pupils, it was an exciting experience for both our boys’ and girls’ teams.
