Sixth Form at Globeducate British International Schools
Sixth Form, also known as post-16, is an optional stage of education that continues after IGCSEs have been completed. It is made up of Years 12 and 13. Students in sixth form work towards A-Level (Advanced Level) exams in subjects of their choice. Languages continue to play an integral and essential role both in the curriculum and beyond. Students can choose their A-Level courses from a wide range of subject options, which are accredited for access to universities in the United Kingdom, the United States, Europe and the rest of the world.
Supporting our students in their choices
for the future
We provide students with the necessary support, guidance and skills to achieve their personal and academic goals and to move on successfully to higher education or on to their chosen career path. This is an important time in a student’s life as they apply for university or other training. We support our students as they select university courses and attend open days and help students to choose the options that are best suited to their particular skill set, academic strengths and personal ambitions. Whatever our students decide, we will make sure that they are well prepared.
Learning goes beyond
the classroom
In addition to preparing for A-Levels and the IBDP, students are offered the opportunity to participate in events such as the Globeducate Model United Nations, Arts and Academic conferences and competitions designed to stimulate enquiring and innovative minds.
We provide students the necessary support, guidance and skills to achieve their academic goals.
